Waupaca Investigative Group has been nominated for a $35,000, 7-Day, $2,500, 1 Hour Documentary and 2-Day Documentary Award by the Wisconsin Film Foundation. The WCA awards are intended to help local filmmakers develop and expand their media projects in Wisconsin. The documentary and/or news project will be broadcast on local stations statewide or locally in Wisconsin, or by cable or satellite provider.
Annie Weingarten/Waupaca Investigative Program was selected to be an Outstanding Documentary Project of the 2018 WCA. Annie’s innovative and innovative reporting has resulted in her award-winning series The Story Shaker.
